On leaving the Ryks Museum we should not omit a glance at the Garden, which is laid out in the style of the 16-17th cent. and contains the old Bergpoort of Deventer (by H. de Keyser; W. side), the Heerenpoort of Groningen, and other remains of old Dutch buildings. The Drawrne Scuoon (Oefenschool voor Teekenonder- wysers), in the §8.E. corner of the garden, contains a freely restored Last Judgment by J. van Scorel (from the church at Warmenhuizen) and B. van Orley’s cartoons for the stained-gla Groote Kerk at Haarlem (1541). D, 6), a building in the Dutch style, erected in 4892-95 by A. W. Weissman.
