Wij halen die massa aan, omdat zij, alhoewel niet van rePubliekeinsche -gedachten doordrongen, toch instinktmatig sympathie voor dien regeeringsvorm en afkeer voor eet koningdom gevoelde, zonder daarom in geen hoege-IMamde uitleggingen te kunnen treden.VSTij halen ze nog aan, omdat zij van den 28 September 1830 tot de maand Juli 1831, iedere week ten minste twee, drij maal in botsing dan met de ilenanders, dan met de burgers, « mannen der orde, » dan Met de troepen van het voorloopig gouvernement en met die .vall koning Lodewijk I kwamen, er slag tegen leverden, aarin verscheidene malen langs beide zijden dooden oteven.</p>
