Object description Fiche : verwerving : gift Van Borm, Temse Zou geboren zijn ca 1185 in Westfalen en gestorven 30 juni 1224 te Osnzbruck. Feestdag 11 februari ; soms 30 juni, in Osnabrück samen met Gosbertunus en Wibo 13 februari. Zijn levensverhaal is als volgt overgeleverd. Bekend geworden onder de naam Aalmoezenier van de armen, was Adolphus kanunnik in Keulen en monnik in Altenkamp bij Rheinberg, het eerste cicterciënzerklooster in Duitsland. In 1216 werd hij bisschop van Osnabrück. Heiligverklaard in 1651.
