Object description Zou geleefd hebben in de 1e eeuw, samen met Joachim feestdag : 16 juli Haar levensverhaal is als volgt overgeleverd. Anna , moeder van de Maagd Maria, en Joachim waren man en rouw. Zij bleef lang kinderloos. Joachim en Anna worden alleen in niet-bijbelse (apocriefe) boeken genoemd. Bedevaartsoord o.a. in Luythagen (Antwerpen). Voor meisjes gold vroeger : “Naar Sint-Anneken, gaat men om een manneken”.
